1. History (History of Dwarka)
• Dwarka is considered to be the city of Lord Krishna. During the Mahabharata period, Shri Krishna left Mathura and settled this city on the seashore.
• This city is one of the four Dhams (Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, Badrinath and Dwarka) and Saptpuri (seven holy cities).
• The Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagatmandir) is believed to have been built about 2200 years ago. The present temple was built by the Vaghela kings in the 16th century.
• Here Shri Krishna is worshipped as "Dwarkadhish" or "Ranchodrai".

• Main Temple – Dwarkadhish Temple
o Five-storey temple with 72 pillars.
